SOUTH WALES NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

The art of newborn photography allows you to capture those first moments and the beauty of your perfect little one in a collection of unique heirloom images that you will be able to pass down through generations.

Never again will the physical features of your little one change so quickly. My style of newborn photography is natural, soft and organic; focusing on the simple beauty of your baby. Using subtle neutrally coloured props and blankets, I favour a more gentle posing showing the true natural beauty of your little one.

ABOUT SESSIONS

In order to capture the fresh beauty of your newborn, it is preferable to photograph your baby within the first 3 weeks of their life. When a baby passes this early stage they tend not to sleep as soundly, are not as curly and are much more alert.

Most of my newborn sessions are booked in late pregnancy, basing your session date on your due date. I only assign limited newborn sessions in my diary so that I can remain flexible to adjust dates when needed.

Newborn sessions take place either in your home or in my beautiful newborn studio space utilising the beautiful natural available light and take between 2 and 4 hours to complete.

THE STUDIO

Nestled in a small rural village just outside the bustling market town of Cowbridge in South Wales is a converted 19th century chapel. This is the base for my little studio.

Bathed in an abundance of beautiful natural light it is the perfect setting for my newborn photography. Just 10 minutes from junction 35 of the M4, 5 minutes from Cowbridge town and 15 minutes from Bridgend. Parking is available on site.
