South Wales is such a beautiful location and I’m so happy to call it home. When it comes to finding locations for natural family photography, I really am spoilt for choice. From beautiful beaches to mountains and rolling hills, atmospheric woodlands to romantic meadows – there really is no shortage of options. I’m always looking for new and exciting locations for me on location photo sessions. The reality is that the location doesn’t have to be jaw-droppingly spectacular, after all YOU are the stars of the show. What does need to be totally on point is the light and this is what I look for the most when I am location scouting. This spot became one of my firm favourites last year. It offers so much variety (lake, sand dunes, woodlands and wild flowers, what’s not to love?).
Kenfig Nature Reserve is a real hidden gem. If you’ve not been before then I strongly suggest that you do. You’ll find it on the coast, just before Port Talbot not far from Margam park. If you go just before sunset on a summers evening then you’ll likely find me with my camera in tow. See you there. 🙂
