“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

I’ve been putting off talking about ‘you-know-what’. After all I know most of us are more than a little overwhelmed right now. What to say? How to say it? What’s the right tone?

Well I’ve decided that the right time is one that focuses on the constants in our lives. The stuff we know, the people we love and the kindness I know we all have in our hearts. The constant in my life is twofold. The love for my family and the pride that my job allows parents to cement the deep love for their families in beautiful photographs. I know that capturing these moments is so valuable to you. In these uncertain times, capturing this connection is just as important (maybe even more so) as we focus on keeping those we love deeply safe.

So, unless either myself or my customers are poorly, I’m going to keep on doing what I love do. I’m going to get out with my camera in the beautiful open countryside and make memories for people. To record the love, connection and joy you share with your special people.

I’m going to hug my kids and tell them it’s going to be ok.

I’m going to focus on helping others less fortunate.

These are my constants.

The world is still turning, the sun still rises and sets, our children are going to be another year older. Let’s focus on the positives and hope that this time makes us realise how lucky we are to have people around us that we love.

We’ll get through this. Together.

P.S If you have a shoot scheduled with me this year then I’ll be in contact very shortly to explain worse case scenarios and back up plan I have in place. If you were thinking about booking a session then please click here for more information explaining this unexpected period.
