Covid-19 Business Operation Update

ON LOCATION FAMILY SESSIONS

As always, it is obviously incredibly important that I do everything I can to safeguard the safety of your family at all times and have put in place some guidelines to ensure all sessions at this time run smoothly.

Limited Availability • I will only be offering 2 on location sessions per day.

Social Distancing • The beauty of shooting on location is that it is pretty easy to adhere to social distancing restrictions. We are surrounded by beautiful fresh air and we’ve got loads of space to play with. I will use photographic equipment that means that I am able to keep 2 meters apart from you at all times and will not have any physical contact with you or your family. I am more than happy to wear a mask during sessions if you prefer me to.

Locations for photo shoots will also be carefully considered to ensure social distancing with others can be adhered to (such as avoiding busy beaches or parks for example). I have access to many beautiful, private rural locations which are not open to the general public which are perfect and/or we can work together to schedule your session for a time of the day which will be less busy (ie. evenings).

Symptoms & Local Lockdowns • You must not attend your session if you or any member of your household are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, subject to a local lockdown or are self-isolating at the time of your session.

Hygiene • I occasionally will bring props along to use in a session such as vintage blankets etc. If props are used, they will be deep cleaned prior to your session. I will have hand sanitiser for you to use at anytime during the session should you require it.

Track & Trace • A track & trace system is in operation for all sessions

NEWBORN SESSIONS

Unfortunately it is impossible to adhere to social distancing measure whilst photographing a newborn session. For this reason I will continue not to offer these sessions during this period. If you would like to record the arrival of a new family member then you might want to consider an on location family session.

STUDIO SESSIONS

The studio is now open for sessions. Luckily the studio is large enough to ensure that social distancing is adhered to at all times. I have put in place the following guidelines to ensure your safety is considered at all times:

  • Please do not attend your session if you are part of a local lockdown or if you or any of your household are showing symptoms of Covid-19 (see below)
  • Your session will be postponed should I (or any of my household) show symptoms of Covid-19 or are subject to a local lockdown (see below)
  • Family groups of no more than 5 people at any one time
  • Social distancing will be adhered to at all times
  • All surfaces in the studio will be cleaned between sessions
  • Where possible the studio door will remain open to aid ventilation
  • I will wear a mask during your session
  • Hand sanitiser is available for your use at regular intervals 
  • A track & trace system is in operation for all sessions

PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING SESSIONS

GROUP COURSES

Due to the current change in government guidance regarding meeting indoors, I will not be holding group sessions. Once this guidance has been eased I will resume group courses.

121 TRAINING SESSIONS

These training sessions will go ahead as normal and the guidance is as below:

  • Please do not attend your session if you are part of a local lockdown or if you or any of your household are showing symptoms of Covid-19 (see below)
  • Your session will be postponed should I (or any of my household) show symptoms of Covid-19 (see below)
  • Social distancing will be adhered to at all times
  • All surfaces in the studio will be cleaned between sessions
  • Where possible the studio door will remain open to aid ventilation
  • I will wear gloves during the session as I will need to hold your camera at various intervals throughout the training.
  • Anti-bac wipes are available to wipe down your equipment at regular intervals
  • I will wear a mask during your session and I ask that you also wear a face covering. If you do not have a mask then one will be provided for you.
  • Hand sanitiser is available for your use at regular intervals 
  • A track & trace system is in operation for all sessions

COVID-19 GUARANTEE

As the pandemic continues and restrictions change, you may be worried that you might not be able to attend your scheduled appointment. This is totally understandable and I have put in place the Covid-19 guarantee to help. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to government restrictions (such as local lockdowns etc.) or any of your household develop Coronavirus symptoms, .I will happily transfer your appointment to a more suitable date in the future. If this does not suit your requirements (such as requiring images for a particular date for example) then your session payment will be refunded to you in full. This will also apply should I (or any of my household) show symptoms or be subject to a local lockdown.


As we all know, regulations are changing all of the time and these guidelines will no doubt change over the coming weeks/months. If you’d like to chat about this further before scheduling your session, please just drop me a line or give me a call on 07852 255766.

This is totally understandable and I have put in place the Covid-19 guarantee to help. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to government restrictions (such as local lockdowns etc.) or any of your household develop Coronavirus symptoms, .I will happily transfer your appointment to a more suitable date in the future. If this does not suit your requirements (such as requiring images for a particular date for example) then your session payment will be refunded to you in full. This will also apply should I (or any of my household) show symptoms). I do ask that you give me as much notice as you possibly can if you do need to cancel or re-schedule. I know this might not always be possible but as a small business and a sole trader it is important to me that I am able to offer your space to another family,
