Covid-19 Business Operation Update

During this difficult time I think we all feel that family is more important than ever and I’m itching to get out with my camera to start recording your special family moments and memories. I plan to start offering on location family sessions only from early to mid July dependant on government guidelines. As always, it is obviously incredibly important that I do everything I can to safeguard the safety of your family at all times and have put in place some guidelines to ensure all sessions at this time run smoothly.

Limited Availability • I will only offering one session per evening through July and August.

Travel •  All on location sessions will take place within 5 miles of your home until 6th July 2020 when the travel restrictions are lifted.

Social Distancing • The beauty of shooting on location is that it is pretty easy to adhere to social distancing restrictions. We are surrounded by beautiful fresh air and we’ve got loads of space to play with. I will use photographic equipment that means that I am able to keep 2 meters apart from you at all times and will not have any physical contact with you or your family. I prefer not to wear a mask during these sessions as I feel it hinders communication and can be a little off-putting for little ones however I am more than happy to wear a mask if you would prefer me to do so.

Locations for photo shoots will also be carefully considered to ensure social distancing with others can be adhered to (such as avoiding busy beaches or parks for example). I have access to many beautiful, private rural locations which are not open to the general public which are perfect and/or we can work together to schedule your session for a time of the day which will be less busy (ie. evenings).

Symptoms • You must not attend your session if you or any member of your household are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or are self-isolating at the time of your session.

Hygiene • I occasionally will bring props along to use in a session such as vintage blankets etc. If props are used, they will be deep cleaned prior to your session. I will have hand sanitiser for you to use at anytime during the session should you require it.

Cancellations • I understand that this is an unusual time and should you need to cancel your session for any reason, that is totally OK. Although I am unable to offer refunds of your session fee, I am more than happy to re-schedule your session to a more convenient time in the future.

Unfortunately it is impossible to adhere to social distancing measure whilst photographing a newborn session. For this reason I will continue not to offer these sessions during this period. If you would like to record the arrival of a new family member then you might want to consider an on location family session.

The studio will re-open for socially distant photography sessions and photography training sessions. I have amended the studio space to ensure social distancing is possible. Hand sanitiser and masks will be available for all who requires them. I will only be holding one studio photo session or training session per day to ensure the studio pace can be cleaned.

As we all know, regulations are changing all of the time and these guidelines will no doubt change over the coming weeks/months. If you’d like to chat about this further before scheduling your session, please just drop me a line or give me a call on 07852 255766.
