Christmas Mini Sessions Cowbridge
So, the studio is almost ready. Just got to do a few final touches and put some yummy pictures on the wall and I’m all set.
This week my first set of little people came to see me to have a play in my Winter Wonderland set. I was nervous. Would they like it? I had everything crossed as that’s the biggest part for me – making sure the kids have such a good time that they forget they are being photographed.
I’ve never wanted to be a ‘studio’ photographer. My style is very different and it was important to me when embarking on this to make sure that my studio style was different to the norm. I want it to reflect the kind of work I do outdoors but inside (if that makes any sense at all!!). To do this I decided that the backdrops had to have depth, be interactive and spark little imaginations. I want the kids to be able to play and feel instantly comfortable but at the same time the backdrops need to be contemporary, stylish and result in images that wouldn’t look out of place in a glossy magazine.
So this is it. I’m launching with a Christmas theme but with MANY ideas for non-festive sets buzzing round in my busy head for next year.
If you’d like to join me in my Winter Wonderland for one weekend only in December – bookings are NOW OPEN. Thanks so much to everyone who has booked so far. Sunday has almost sold out (one space left) but there are still a few slots available on the Saturday. If you’d like more information about the sessions, what they include and also to book online just click here.
Ho Ho Ho.
With love (and snowballs),
